Job Summary
Project Manager responsible for the successful completion of construction projects in Los Angeles and Orange Counties. Duties include serving as main point of contact with owners and design teams, overseeing project engineers, managing subcontractor contracts and procurement, setting guidelines, maintaining document control, leading OAC and project team meetings, developing and monitoring budgets, schedules, and cost reports, processing change orders, coordinating with general superintendents, preparing scope of work exhibits and contract details, managing RFIs and close-out processes, ensuring insurance compliance (Builders Risk, General Liability, Subcontractor Default), and promoting safety per OSHA requirements. Requires 2-4 years of relevant experience (Senior Project Engineer/Assistant PM), degree in Construction Management or related field, OSHA 10/30, strong reading of construction drawings, scheduling expertise, and ability to commute within LA and Orange Counties. Salary range $100,000-$130,000 with DOE considerations.
Required Qualifications
- Degree in Construction Management or related field
- OSHA 10 or 30 Certification
- 2-4 years minimum experience as Senior Project Engineer or Assistant Project Manager
- Experience with higher education and/or healthcare construction projects preferred
- Experience on large commercial construction projects preferred
- Fluency in reading, quantifying, and analyzing construction drawings
- Competent understanding of construction scheduling and sequencing
- Ability to work on fast-paced projects with accelerated schedules
- Flexibility to commute to project locations in Los Angeles and Orange Counties
