Project Manager (P.E.) - Water/Wastewater

Job Summary
Lead and direct water/wastewater project design teams in responsible charge for municipal and utility projects in northern Nevada and California. Develop and maintain project schedules and budgets, provide coaching and delegation to staff, perform technical QA/QC reviews, serve as primary client contact, and spearhead business development including preparing proposals, qualification statements, and promotional materials. The role emphasizes growing the water/wastewater practice in coordination with the Lumos Group Manager, managing projects from concept through delivery, and maintaining budgets while pursuing repeat business. Requires PE license in Nevada (CA license desirable) and a Bachelor's degree in Civil/Environmental Engineering, with 8+ years of relevant experience and strong communication and leadership capabilities.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil or Environmental Engineering
- 8+ years of related water/wastewater engineering design and related management experience
- Professional Engineer (P.E.) license in Nevada required; California P.E. license preferred or willingness and ability to obtain within a reasonable timeframe
- Experience leading a team of technical staff in multiple disciplines
- Excellent oral and written communication skills including public and client presentations
- Valid driver’s license and driving record with 3 or fewer demerit points
