Job Summary
Lead the full lifecycle of multiple electrical construction projects in the data center industry, from initial planning and resource allocation to final quality assurance and closure. Act as the central hub between clients, field leadership, and internal stakeholders to ensure safe, on-time, and budget-compliant delivery. Develop comprehensive project plans, conduct proactive risk assessments, and lead diverse teams including electricians, technicians, and subcontractors. Supervise site activities to enforce strict adherence to safety protocols, electrical codes, and quality standards while managing vendor procurement and scope adjustments. Maintain transparent reporting on project status, budget deviations, and deliverables. Requires 5+ years of experience in electrical data center construction, a driver's license, and the ability to travel up to 10% to active indoor and outdoor construction sites.
Required Qualifications
- 5+ years of recent experience specifically as a Project Manager in the electrical data center construction industry
- A valid driver's license appropriate for the role
- Eligibility to operate a motor vehicle in accordance with applicable laws
- Must be able to walk, stand, stoop, twist, bend, and climb stairs or ladders for extended periods while navigating uneven, unpaved, or obstructed terrain
- Must be able to lift, carry, push, or pull up to 50 pounds on an occasional basis
- Must be able to drive between job sites and access all areas of an active construction zone, including raised platforms, scaffolding, and confined spaces
- Must be able to tolerate exposure to outdoor weather conditions, dust, and construction-related noise, vibrations, and odors
- Must have sufficient visual acuity to read drawings, specifications, and safety signage, and to observe site activity
- Must possess and maintain a valid driver's license appropriate for the role and be eligible to operate a motor vehicle in accordance with applicable laws
