Project Manager, Operational Excellence

Job Summary

Manage a portfolio of operational initiatives from intake through stabilization, defining scope, timelines, and objectives while documenting workflows and maintaining schedules. Conduct project intake, identify risks, and develop mitigation strategies using PDSA cycles and LEAN methods to drive efficiency and clinical growth. Incorporate productivity, financial, and patient experience metrics to assess effectiveness, coordinate communications, and prepare status reports for stakeholders. Support post-project reviews to capture lessons learned and build organizational project management capabilities. Collaborate with clinical leaders, IT, and operational teams to ensure consistent execution and alignment with strategic goals.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree
  • 3-5 years project management experience
  • Previous healthcare experience
  • Proven ability to manage cross-functional projects and coordinate multidisciplinary teams
  • Skilled in supporting change initiatives and building consensus among diverse stakeholders
  • Ability to work independently and make sound decisions while meeting time sensitive deadlines
  • Proven ability to excel and achieve results in a team-oriented, matrixed environment
  • Strong organizational skills keeping tasks, timelines, and stakeholders aligned
  • Ability to think analytically and problem-solve
  • Strong interpersonal, presentation and facilitation skills for engaging a wide range of audiences
  • Excellent conflict resolution skills
  • Ability to present facts and recommendations effectively in oral and written form
  • Knowledge of project management, change management and process improvement techniques and tools
  • Experience with workflow documentation and process mapping
  • Basic experience with business case preparation and cost benefit analysis
  • Strong knowledge of data collection and data analysis techniques
  • Ability to interpret project-related documents
  • Expertise in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint and Visio) and Microsoft SharePoint
  • Ability to analyze data and create visualizations in Microsoft Excel
  • Commitment to continuous learning and adoption of new tools and technologies
  • Ability to support innovation and change
  • Monday through Friday 8:00am - 4:30pm
