Job Summary
Project Manager with experience in interior design, architecture, event production, industrial design, custom fabrication, and/or construction. Primarily a project management role with a strong design sensibility, including the ability to design and 3D model in Rhino and read/redline architectural drawing sets. Responsible for overseeing and delivering all contracted scope, communicating project schedule and deliverables among clients, designers, and production. Responsibilities include developing design concepts, creating 3D visualizations and presentation decks, coordinating prototyping strategies, managing production schedules, documenting coordination with engineers and permitting, maintaining scope/schedule/budget communications, tracking finances and contracts, and compiling final project documentation in collaboration with Marketing. Essential skills include project/client management, schedule creation, construction administration, strong creative and storytelling abilities, concise communication, knowledge of fabrication technologies (CNC, laser, waterjet, 3D printing), and proficiency with Rhino and related software. The role is hybrid with in-person attendance at campus HQ and client sites as needed.
Required Qualifications
- Project management experience across interior design, architecture, event production, industrial design, custom fabrication, and/or construction
- Ability to design and 3D model in Rhino
- Ability to read and redline architectural drawing sets
- Strong written and spoken communication skills
- Detail-oriented with professional meeting etiquette and coordination
- Knowledge of materials, fabrication techniques and technologies, including CNC, laser cutting, waterjet, and 3D printing
- Experience coordinating production schedules, budgets, and stakeholder communications
- Ability to collaborate with designers, production, subcontractors, and clients
- Experience producing design concepts, 3D visualizations, and presentation decks
- Familiarity with coordinating technical documentation for coordination with engineers and permitting
- Ability to manage contracts, budget revisions, and invoices
- Experience with project reporting and archiving project assets for cross-department navigation
- Proficiency with tools such as Rhino, Adobe CS, Bluebeam, Asana, Gantt charts, GSuite, Procore
