Job Summary
Lead and deliver complex projects within Hospital Billing and Outpatient Revenue Cycle Operations, from planning through implementation. Drive process and technology improvements to enhance efficiency, throughput, and revenue performance. Manage the full project lifecycle, including initiation, planning, execution, monitoring, and closure, while defining scope, goals, success metrics, and resource needs. Develop detailed project plans, risk assessments, and communication strategies to maintain visibility across stakeholders. Track progress, prepare executive summaries, and report status updates to leadership. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement new initiatives, identify operational inefficiencies, and develop standardized workflows. Support vendor management by coordinating contracts and performance evaluations. Maintain data accuracy through performance dashboards and ensure adherence to NYU Langone policies, including HIPAA compliance.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelors degree in Finance, Business Management or related field
- Minimum of five years experience in Finance or related field
- Ability to manage, coordinate and facilitated project development process
- Strong analytical skills
- Ability to work independently
- Demonstrate initiative
- Problem solving and critical thinking skills
- Proficient in the use of MS Office, including: Word, Excel, and Outlook
- Effective oral, written, communication, interpersonal and presentation skills
- Qualified candidates must be able to effectively communicate with all levels of the organization
