Job Summary
Deliver primary care to underserved populations, including individuals experiencing homelessness and at-risk groups, while providing services in mobile, community, and school-based settings. Manage day-to-day clinic operations across multiple locations, oversee workflows and scheduling, and supervise Nurse Practitioners and Community Health Administration staff. Support grant-funded initiatives by collaborating with stakeholders, managing federal reporting, tracking outcomes, and monitoring budgets. Ensure compliance, quality improvement, and culturally responsive care delivery while maintaining Electronic Health Record systems. Requires 75% travel between San Diego and Los Angeles sites.
Required Qualifications
- Master of Science in Nursing (MSN)
- Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP) certification
- Current and unencumbered Advanced Practice Registered Nurse (APRN) Certification
- Registered Nurse (RN) Licensure
- Active California furnishing number
- National Provider Identifier (NPI)
- DEA registration number
- Current national and state board certification as a Nurse Practitioner from an approved organization such as: American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC), American Academy of Nurse Practitioners (AANP), National Certification Corporation (NCC)
- Minimum 5 years of healthcare leadership or management experience
- Experience serving underserved, vulnerable, or historically marginalized populations
- Experience managing healthcare programs, clinical teams, or community-based services
- Pediatric experience
- Reside in San Diego, CA
- Ability and willingness to travel up to 75%
- Experience working with communities experiencing homelessness
Desired Qualifications
