Job Summary

Oversee design and completion of architectural projects across all phases, from pre-design through construction administration, ensuring deliverables meet contractual agreements, budgets, and quality standards. Supervise and mentor project teams to produce high-quality construction documents while maintaining positive client relationships and coordinating with key individuals for critical issue resolution. Provide leadership, resources, and technical advice for construction document generation, including detailing and finish application, ensuring adherence to design intent. Support the Client Executive and Principal Architect in delegation and project facilitation, with occasional travel required.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in Architecture
  • Strong customer service, organizational, and communication skills
  • Knowledge of building regulations and safety codes
  • Experience working with the Division of the State Architect (DSA)
  • Ability to professionally communicate both verbally and in writing to give assignments to office support staff, consultants, and vendors
  • Ability to perform Construction Administration duties
  • Occasional travel

Desired Qualifications

  • You have a Master's Degree
  • You have an Architecture License
  • Demonstrated knowledge in using Revit and AutoCAD programs
  • You have 10+ years of related professional experience
  • You have a working knowledge of graphic programs (SketchUp and Adobe Creative Suites)
  • You have knowledge of sustainability, integrated design and LEED guidelines
