Project Manager (Networks FTTB)

Job Summary
Oversee and prioritize all FTTB builds in the pipeline, ensuring alignment with transmission link timelines, resource allocation, and cross-functional coordination. Manage relationships with external suppliers, facilitate the implementation process, and handle order approvals for new services. Establish tracking mechanisms to monitor project statuses, dependencies, and risks while optimizing resource and time allocation. Act as the main contact for Technology and Operations on new transmission requirements, consolidating functional reporting and managing contract administration. Maintain the Master circuit and hosting system, recommending self-build options where supply is limited. Track projects from initiation to completion using network monitoring tools, ensuring internal and external deadlines are met across complex, cross-functional initiatives.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or a related field
- Project Management Diploma
- 5+ years' experience in project management, with a focus on network infrastructure and implementation
- Proven experience managing FTTB (Fiber to the Business) builds and deployments in the pipeline, including end-to-end planning, coordination, and delivery of fiber infrastructure projects
- Demonstrated experience with FTTB build projects is required, with a solid technical understanding
- Demonstrated experience with Fixed wireless builds are required
- Working knowledge of network monitoring and project management software
- Working knowledge of managing project budget, quality and completion on time
- Experience managing complex projects from initiation to completion, including planning, scheduling, risk and budget management
- Experience working with cross functional teams and managing vendor relationships
- Strong understanding of network infrastructure technologies, including LAN, WAN, VPN and cloud based networking
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and prioritise effectively
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to translate technical concepts for non technical stakeholders
