Job Summary

Project Manager in Greensboro, NC responsible for day-to-day execution of assigned multi-family apartment construction projects from permits through final certificate of occupancy and turnover to the owner. Oversees subcontractors, vendors, and personnel to complete work on time and within budget while adhering to CIP’s quality standards; provides oversight and support to the superintendent. Drives scheduling, on-site coordination with subcontractors and architects/civil engineers, review of pay applications and submittals, progress reporting, coordination with utilities, safety compliance, and frequent site visits. Travel required about 25%.

Required Qualifications

  • A minimum of 4 years multi-family apartment construction
  • Experience with wood frame building types
  • A demonstrated understanding of multifamily construction means and methods
  • Must be able to maintain the flow of progress
  • Willing to work the hours required to meet deadlines
  • A construction or architectural related degree is a plus
  • Proven ability to supervise multiple projects simultaneously
  • Demonstrated experience as a self-starter
  • A proven employment record
