Job Summary
Lead and execute a portfolio of Innovation or Life Cycle Management projects, delivering them on-time, within budget, and in compliance. Independently build project plans, align stakeholders, and manage timelines while driving team accountabilities across R&D, Marketing, Sales, and Operations. Develop charters, identify risks, and lead cross-functional teams from onset through launch. Prepare stage-gate reviews for governance forums and maintain project updates in Planisware. Work toward business process improvements and utilize metrics to enhance product launch processes. Requires 10% travel; hybrid work in Summit, NJ.
Required Qualifications
- A minimum of a Bachelor's degree
- A minimum of 8-10 years combined business experience within the following areas is required in Project Management, Engineering, Research and Development, Sales, Planning, Finance, Marketing and/or Operational function
- A minimum of 2 years of formal Project Management experience
- Must be able to work independently and without direct line management authority over team members
- Must be accountable, work well under pressure and have strong time management and prioritization skills
- Must be comfortable challenging status quo and looking for ways to improve processes
- This position may require up to 10% travel domestically and internationally
Desired Qualifications
- An advanced degree (MA, MS, MBA)
- Project Management Training and/or Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification
- Proficiency in MS Project, MS Excel and Portfolio management software
- Experience launching new products or managing product changes
- Working in a GMP or regulated environment (Pharmaceutical, Medical Device and Diagnostics, or Consumer Product)
