Project Manager - Mine Closure (GeoSystems Analysis)

Lead projects related to tailings, heap leach, and waste rock facility closure, including reclamation landform, cover systems, and storm water management. Provide technical guidance on mine water balance modeling and design characterization studies for waste rock and tailings physical and geochemical properties. Manage the design of surface water and seepage control measures, oversee field-scale cover system trials, and establish project communication protocols with internal and external stakeholders. Track project goals, milestones, and task assignments while developing realistic budgets, scopes-of-work, and timelines. Monitor labor and expense budgets weekly, implement QA/QC procedures, and provide training to project staff. Coordinate resource planning across departments and initiate change orders for project deviations. Ensure proper documentation and close-out procedures.
