Job Summary

Coordinate assigned projects from planning through completion by organizing details, tracking progress, compiling information, and facilitating meetings to ensure timely delivery. Support project rollouts by clarifying objectives, timelines, and responsibilities while building collaborative relationships with internal teams and external partners. Provide clear updates, confirm next steps, and communicate risks, barriers, and follow-up items to project leaders and participants. Gather and maintain comprehensive documentation, decisions, and action items to support project continuity and accurate records. Monitor risks, dependencies, and budget considerations; recommend solutions and escalate concerns to keep initiatives moving forward. Develop dashboards, status reports, and decision logs to ensure transparency and accountability. Administer project management software, maintain the project pipeline, and facilitate change requests with stakeholder approval. Perform post-project reviews to evaluate outcomes and identify improvement opportunities. Provide monthly and quarterly statistical updates on Return on Investment and usage. Maintain knowledge of credit union policies, regulatory requirements, and applicable laws while protecting confidential member and vendor information.

Required Qualifications

  • High School diploma or equivalent
  • Three or more years of project coordination, project management, or related experience with proven results
  • Experience coordinating projects from planning through completion, including timelines, documentation, communication, follow-up, and outcome tracking
  • Experience working collaboratively with leaders, internal teams, vendors, or business partners to support project implementation
  • Ability to be bonded
  • Ability to clear credit and criminal history check
  • Compliance with the U.S Patriot Act and the Credit Union's Bank Secrecy and OFAC Policies and Procedures
  • Compliance with the Gramm-Leach-Bliley Act and the Credit Union's Information Security program, maintaining the privacy and security of information, systems, and locations
  • Ability to lift up to 25 pounds
  • Able to sit or stand for 2-4 hours at a time
  • Ability to communicate effectively via phone, video conferencing, and email
  • Proficient in Windows Operating System and Microsoft Office Suite/o365 Suite
  • Advanced ability and experience with using Excel
  • Bachelor's degree in business administration, management, project management, or related field
  • Project management, change management, process improvement, or related certification
  • Financial institution or credit union experience
  • Experience using project management tools or platforms
  • Hybrid schedule available, position is not 100% remote, required in office each week
  • This role is not eligible for immigration sponsorship
  • Ability to lead small and large groups
  • Knowledge of and successful experience with conflict resolution
  • Strong facilitation skills with the ability to lead productive project meetings, clarify expectations, summarize decisions, and drive follow-through on next steps
  • Ability to adapt communication style for executives, project sponsors, subject matter experts, vendors, and team members to ensure shared understanding and timely decisions
  • Demonstrated ability to prioritize multiple projects, manage competing deadlines, anticipate obstacles, and keep stakeholders informed of progress and needed decisions
  • Demonstrates initiative, curiosity, and sound judgment in identifying opportunities to improve efficiency, asking thoughtful questions, and moving work forward when priorities shift or details are unclear
  • Comfortable holding others accountable in a respectful, professional way to keep projects on track
  • Ability to assess difficult situations and remain calm under pressure
  • Maintain comprehensive knowledge of credit union products
  • Maintain knowledge of applicable credit union policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements related to assigned projects

Desired Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in business administration, management, project management, or related field preferred; equivalent work experience may be considered
  • Project management, change management, process improvement, or related certification preferred
  • Financial institution or credit union experience preferred
  • Experience using project management tools or platforms preferred
