Job Summary
Lead customer, internal technology, and cross-functional programs for holographic systems, overseeing the full scope from optical system concept to functional customer prototypes. Manage PMO responsibilities including structure, planning, tracking, reporting, and action item follow-up, with a specific focus on consumer near-to-eye applications, holographic data glasses, and automotive display projects. Direct interdisciplinary teams with interfaces across optics, machine control, technology development, quality, and customer projects. Translate specifications for holographic projectors into actionable technical and project-specific requirements. Requires a degree in optics or photonics, extensive project leadership experience, and strong communication skills in German and English. Based full-time in Jena.
Required Qualifications
- Abgeschlossenes Studium mit Schwerpunkt Optik, Photonik oder vergleichbarem Studiengang
- Mehrjährige Erfahrung in Projektleitung, Programmmanagement oder PMO
- Erfahrung in Automotive-, Consumer- oder Technologieprojekten
- Technisches Verständnis für (Augen-)Optik, Photonik oder vergleichbaren technischen Disziplinen
- Ausgeprägte Fähigkeit, technische Anforderungen strukturiert aufzunehmen, zu priorisieren und in Projektpläne sowie Entscheidungsgrundlagen zu überführen
- Stark strukturierte, prozessorientierte Arbeitsweise sowie Verständnis für Qualitätsmanagementsysteme und Entwicklungsprozesse
- Ausgeprägte Kommunikationsstärke in Deutsch und Englisch (in Wort und Schrift)
- Souveräner Umgang mit internen Fachbereichen, Kunden, Lieferanten und Management-Stakeholdern
- Die Stelle ist in Vollzeit an unserem Standort Jena zu besetzen
- Mit der Stelle ist eine regelmäßige Präsenz vor Ort in Jena verbunden
