Job Summary
Project Manager to join MGC Contractors, Inc. in the Utah (Provo) division. Coordinate with the Project Superintendent to develop site logistics, oversee pay request processes, monitor project costs and job cost reports, analyze and forecast total cost projections, monitor labor, review and approve material and equipment needs, assist in estimating when bidding projects, and develop/maintain relationships with owners, vendors, and subcontractors. Requires handling professional office duties and field supervision on construction sites, with ability to work outdoors in variable weather and lift up to 50 pounds. Must have a High School Diploma or GED and a Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management or related program, plus at least eight years of construction field experience; proficient in Microsoft Office and strong communication skills. This is a full-time position with possible overtime, located in Provo, UT.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED
- Bachelor degree in Construction Management or related Program
- At least eight (8) years of construction field experience
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook)
- Effective Communication Skills both oral and written, and quick response time to inquiries
