Job Summary
Manage millwork projects from contract award through final installation and closeout, overseeing planning, scheduling, budgeting, and client communication. Coordinate with clients, architects, general contractors, and internal teams to ensure requirements are met while reviewing architectural and shop drawings to identify scope, materials, and potential issues. Oversee procurement of materials, hardware, and subcontractor services, monitor production and installation progress, and conduct site visits to verify field conditions and ensure compliance with design intent and quality standards. Track change orders, RFIs, and project documentation while maintaining safety and compliance standards. Provide regular project status updates to leadership and clients.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Architecture, Engineering, or related field (preferred)
- 3–5 years of project management experience in millwork, carpentry, or architectural woodwork
- Strong understanding of millwork fabrication, finishes, and installation practices
- Ability to read and interpret architectural and shop drawings
- Proficiency with project management software (MS Project, Procore, or similar) and Microsoft Office Suite
- Excellent organizational, problem-solving, and communication skills
- Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Leadership and team coordination
