Job Summary
Oversee day-to-day operations for projects assigned, coordinate kickoff meetings with field, shop management, and stakeholders, and ensure schedules and submittals stay on track. Collaborate with drafting, project engineers, fabrication shop, and subcontractors/vendors; draft Change Proposals and maintain CP log; manage submittals (including control log) and timely billings/pay applications; monitor progress on site and in shop, safety, and QA/QC; lead regular project-manager meetings and BIM coordination with drafting and production teams; conduct bi-monthly cost and labor forecast meetings; mentor and train project engineers; and complete close-out documentation (As-builts, O&Ms, warranties). Proficiency in design-build/design-assist, pre-construction, and BIM processes is implied by responsibilities, with emphasis on commercial HVAC/mechanical systems and construction management across projects.
Required Qualifications
- MUST have commercial HVAC mechanical experience
- MUST have construction background
- Preferred have 3+ years of experience in Project Management
- BS in Construction Management, Mechanical Engineering, or Architecture is preferred
