Project Manager - Mechanical

Job Summary
Manage mechanical construction projects from preconstruction through commissioning, owner turnover, and closeout. Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, general contractors, architects, and engineers while developing budgets, schedules, and forecasts. Monitor costs, productivity, and cash flow to ensure profitability, then coordinate with superintendents, estimators, and procurement teams to support field execution. Review drawings, specifications, RFIs, and change orders, identifying risks and proactively developing solutions to minimize schedule and financial impacts. Ensure compliance with contract requirements, safety standards, and quality expectations while fostering strong customer relationships.
Required Qualifications
- 5+ years of Project Management experience within mechanical construction
- Experience managing HVAC, plumbing, piping, or process mechanical construction projects
- Strong understanding of project financial management, scheduling, contracts, procurement, change management, and project controls
- Ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining strong communication with clients and project teams
- Experience working collaboratively with Superintendents, Estimators, BIM/VDC, and field operations
- Proficiency with Procore, Bluebeam, Microsoft Office, and construction management software
Desired Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field preferred
- Experience with commercial, industrial, mission critical, semiconductor, advanced manufacturing, or data center projects is preferred
- OSHA 30 certification is preferred
