Job Summary
Project Manager at MassMEP responsible for deploying and sustaining lean and continuous improvement programs for manufacturing clients across Massachusetts, administering surveys in accordance with grant schedules, and engaging the sales representative to assist in developing future opportunities. Essential tasks include identifying, prioritizing, and executing continuous improvement activities; delivering full scope of MassMEP training projects; monitoring trainings and responding to client questions; engaging in upsell opportunities during client surveys; collaborating with the Business Development Advisor; mentoring other PMs; developing and modifying programs/presentations to meet client needs; interfacing with client organizations, MassMEP teams, and partners; and educating managers on commercial benefits of MassMEP programs. Travel within the state up to 100% is required; offices located in Auburn, MA.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Manufacturing or Industrial Engineering; or equivalent training/experience
- 10 - 15 Years’ Experience in training, engineering, quality, management, or supervisory role in manufacturing environment
- Proven experience in automating downstream operations
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications
- Solid presentation skills, including creating engaging and effective electronic and/or print materials
- Must be able to work well under pressure, manage and prioritize multiple tasks and have a flexible schedule
- Must have a valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
