Project Manager - Major Transmission Pipeline

Job Summary
Lead end-to-end transmission pipeline projects from feasibility to closeout, overseeing safety, scope, schedule, budget, and regulatory compliance; coordinate multidisciplinary internal teams and external consultants/contractors/regulators; serve as primary client interface; drive governance, change control, and issue resolution; oversee routing studies, permitting, FEED, detailed engineering, procurement, construction, commissioning, and turnover; manage environmental/regulatory approvals (PHMSA, FERC, ASME B31.4/B31.8, API); oversee risk, budgets, earned value, and project controls; require leadership across civil, mechanical, pipeline, electrical, I&C, environmental, and structural disciplines; preferred PE license and PMP certification; experience with hydrogen/CO2/energy transition pipelines and project controls tools like Primavera P6 and MS Project.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or related technical discipline
- 8+ years of experience managing major transmission pipeline or linear infrastructure projects
- Deep understanding of transmission pipeline design, permitting, construction, and operations
- Proven ability to manage multidisciplinary engineering and construction teams on complex, multi-stakeholder projects
- Working knowledge of ASME B31.4/B31.8, API standards, and PHMSA regulations
- Experience across EPC, EPCM, and Owner’s Engineer delivery models
- Exceptional leadership, communication, negotiation, and organizational skills
