Job Summary
Execute end-to-end planning, coordination, and delivery of complex project cargo operations for containerized, heavy lift, and oversized shipments, with a primary focus on the Renewable Energy sector. Manage both Spanish local logistics execution and Global Control Tower responsibilities, ensuring compliance with project timelines, budgets, and customer requirements. Prepare shipment documentation, monitor operational systems, and drive KPI performance against targets while collaborating daily with customers, vendors, and internal stakeholders. Source and procure in line with global frameworks, evaluate vendor proposals, and escalate operational risks with mitigation plans. Requires 5+ years of project logistics experience, fluency in English and Spanish, and occasional travel. Join Maersk's international, growth-oriented MPL Operations Team to simplify global trade.
Required Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience and a proven track record in project freight forwarding, project logistics, or multimodal transport operations (road and sea)
- Strong analytical and operational mindset combined with financial acumen and project management capabilities
- Deep understanding of global supply chains
- Strong knowledge of the Spanish project logistics market, including key service providers involved in both containerized and oversized project cargo shipments
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic, matrix-based environment
- Excellent stakeholder management and interpersonal skills in a multicultural environment
- Fluency in English and Spanish (written and spoken)
- Willingness and ability to travel occasionally according to project requirements
