Job Summary
Lead the successful execution of electrical construction and maintenance projects from award through completion, serving as the primary client contact to ensure strong communication and satisfaction. Champion safety by promoting a zero-incident workplace and establish scope, budgets, and schedules while managing resources, costs, and change processes. Collaborate with estimating teams during proposal development, review drawings and specifications to identify risks, and lead kick-off meetings to align field teams. Monitor productivity with foremen, manage client approvals and progress billing, and travel regularly to project sites. Requires previous industrial construction experience, strong electrical background, and proficiency with scheduling software. Based in the Lower Mainland with regular travel required.
Required Qualifications
- Previous Project Management experience within the industrial construction and maintenance industry
- Strong electrical background with the ability to understand and collaborate across multiple disciplines
- Experience managing projects from planning through execution and close-out
- Ability to interpret electrical, mechanical, civil drawings, P&IDs, vendor documents, and project specifications
- Strong estimating knowledge, including cost development, material take-offs, and reviewing project scopes
- Excellent organizational, communication, negotiation, and leadership skills
- Ability to manage competing priorities while maintaining a strong focus on safety, quality, and client satisfaction
- Proficiency with MS Office and project scheduling software
- A proactive, solutions-focused mindset with the ability to manage change effectively
- Travel regularly to project sites
