Job Summary
Oversee comprehensive project direction, financial success, and client relationships for Local Law 11 façade restoration and general construction projects. Interpret construction drawings, technical specifications, and submission requirements while managing prime contracts, subcontracts, and vendor agreements. Lead small to mid-sized teams, forecast costs, and manage RFIs, submittals, schedules, and budgets through specialized software. Develop bid packages, procure proposals, and act as the primary client contact for periodic progress reporting. Identify risks and develop mitigation strategies throughout the project lifecycle, facilitating critical meetings with internal and external stakeholders.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution in Architecture, Engineering, or Construction Management
- 5-7 years of relevant construction industry experience
- Proficiency in Microsoft Project or Primavera P6, Microsoft Office Suite, and Bluebeam
- Ability to comprehend ARCH & MEP drawings and reports, with a focus on identifying potential improvements for project implementation
Desired Qualifications
- Preferably experienced in healthcare construction projects
- Experience managing Local Law 11 (Façade Inspection & Safety Program/FISP) projects in New York City
