Job Summary
Project Manager for a 100% in-office role in Boston, MA, focusing on managing and delivering complex construction/real estate development projects. Responsibilities include representing the company with owners, architects, consultants, government authorities and contractors; soliciting bids and negotiating contracts; developing and presenting project plans, budgets and schedules; coordinating with diverse stakeholders to execute plans; maintaining project documentation and reporting; managing project team performance and contract compliance; overseeing financials, change orders, RFIs, submittals, and material deliveries; leading weekly OAC meetings, site visits and inspections; resolving issues to maintain quality, cost, and schedule; supporting entitlement and permitting processes; and performing duties as assigned. Required experience ranges 5-10 years in related fields; a Bachelor's Degree or military equivalent; professional accreditations such as PMP, LEED, WELL, Fitwell are preferred; strong leadership, communication, and software proficiency; practical knowledge of building codes and permitting; ability to work both independently and with teams. The role requires in-office work with no remote option.
Required Qualifications
- 5-10 years of relevant experience in project management, construction management, real estate development, or related field
- Bachelor’s Degree, or military equivalent, preferably with focus on Construction Management, Architecture, Engineering, Interior Design, Real Estate Development, Finance, Business, or closely related field
- Real Estate Brokers license and PMP, LEED, WELL, Fitwell accreditations preferred
- Previous experience on commercial, life science, healthcare, institutional, and/or multi-family residential projects in a general contracting, construction management or closely related business field
- Excellent leadership and organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal
- Proficiency in project management software, Microsoft Office Suite, and other relevant tools and applications
- Practical understanding of local building codes, permitting, and inspection process
- Ability to work independently and in a team setting while taking direction from multiple project leaders
- Ability to effectively collaborate with internal and external leasing teams and Project Coordinators/Managers, general contractors, architects, engineers, and consultants including the ability to give direction
