Job Summary
Project Manager oversees residential construction projects in the Columbus market, coordinating budgets, forecasts, and schedules while working with vendors and the CEO. Responsible for cost analysis, monthly reporting, maintaining quality control, and ensuring adherence to budgets and timelines. Manages subcontractor evaluation and contracting, facilitates plan approvals and permitting, tracks variances from contract documents, and sustains contractor relationships to meet budget, schedule, and quality targets. Communicates project status and risks to senior leadership, and ensures safety policies are followed. Requires strong financial reporting, analytical, organizational, and negotiation skills, plus proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Word, and Microsoft Project.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering or Relevant Experience is required
- A minimum of five (5) years of residential construction experience is required
- Aptitude to acquire general construction and legal knowledge with respect to commercial and residential development building codes, materials, product specifications and costs
