Job Summary
Develop and maintain project plans, timelines, and budgets based on client requirements while forecasting labor, vendor, and subcontractor costs. Lead cross-functional teams including engineers and technicians to deliver successful outcomes, managing subcontractor negotiations and purchase orders. Coordinate project deliverables, create weekly meeting agendas and minutes, and submit status reports through RMS. Attend site surveys, progress meetings, and quarterly visits with clients, overseeing customer training and warranty claims. Oversee final invoicing, Record of Completion submissions, and contract closeout requirements. Manage project risks, track key performance indicators, and ensure compliance with quality standards and industry regulations.
Required Qualifications
- 8-10+ years of project management experience in a technical environment, ideally within electronic security, fire alarm & life safety, building automation, or AV systems
- Previous supervisory experience, including team leadership and cross-functional coordination
- PMP Certification and/or industry-specific certifications
- Strong leadership, team-building, and facilitation skills
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Experience in government contracting and financial analysis
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and project management software (e.g., Microsoft Project)
- Knowledge of IT networking principles
- Ability to obtain and maintain a DoD Secret Security Clearance (U.S. Citizenship required)
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field or equivalent experience
- Valid driver's license with a clean record
- Ability to lift objects weighing 25-50 pounds (accommodations available)
- Ability to obtain and maintain required security clearance (sponsored by Convergint Federal)
