Job Summary
Project Manager responsible for planning, delivering, and controlling IT projects across HR, Legal, and Finance workstreams, including cloud implementations. Leads cross-functional teams to ensure on-time, on-budget delivery with quality while keeping clients first. Develops integrated plans, manages scope, schedule, costs, risks, and stakeholders, and reports progress to steering committees in a hybrid Toronto-based setting. Applies TMX-standard processes and toolsets, emphasizes SDLC/Agile approaches, and enhances templates and processes for audit readiness and efficiency.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 5 years’ experience managing Information Technology projects including Cloud implementations
- End to end project delivery experience for IT projects
- HR, Legal and Finance workstreams experience
- University/undergraduate degree in related discipline or equivalent PM work experience within the financial services industry
- Ability to navigate and deliver within a fully matrixed environment that is complex and somewhat ambiguous
- Demonstrated leadership with the ability to motivate and effectively manage teams
- Strong interpersonal and negotiation skills
- Excellent written and verbal communications
- Background delivering projects using SDLC, Iterative and Agile methodologies
- Excellent relationship building abilities and understanding that partnership is key to successful delivery
- PMP certification (Nice to Have)
- Migration to Google Suite (Nice to Have)
- Workday experience as a PPM (Nice to Have)
