Project Manager Lead - Tool Hookup Mechanical

Project Manager Lead (Tool Hookup Mechanical) acts as the primary engineering and construction leader for process mechanical and exhaust hookup operations within a semiconductor foundry, bridging factory operations, tool vendors (OEMs), and trade contractors to ensure highly complex manufacturing equipment is connected to the facility’s utility infrastructure safely, efficiently, and precisely. Responsible for the mechanical scope’s safety, schedule, quality, and budget from tool arrival to final factory handover. Manages engineering, scheduling, resources, and cross-functional conflicts between trades; monitors financial performance, cash flow forecasting, change orders, and earned value management (EVM); collaborates with master scheduling to align mechanical installation with Tool In-Fab (TIF) and Tool Install Ready (TIR) milestones. Requires a Mechanical or related engineering degree, 8+ years in high-purity mechanical and process piping PM, 5 years in an operational semiconductor cleanroom, and desirable PMP or PE licensure. Proficiency in high-purity piping materials (PVDF, PFA, 316L EP), SEMI standards (S2, S8), NFPA, FM Global, cleanroom protocols (Class 10–1000), and software tools (Navisworks, Revit, Primavera P6, Procore).
