Job Summary
Lead and develop the Project Management department, ensuring alignment with site and business objectives while owning and managing the department budget. Act as a member of the site leadership team to contribute to strategic planning and operational excellence. Lead multiple parallel projects and engineering change requests, developing comprehensive project plans covering scope, timeline, cost, resources, risk, quality, communication, and procurement. Coordinate cross-functional teams to implement plans within timelines and key milestones, conducting regular meetings to ensure accountability and manage risk escalation. Manage and track prototype phases from alpha through PPAP, followed by production ramp-up tracking. Create and update Project Online reporting to identify, analyze, and resolve risks, while leading cost improvement activities for projects missing business case targets. Facilitate collaboration among sample and cross-functional teams to optimize productivity and communicate effectively with customers and management.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in engineering or business administration
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in team management and coordination role
- Automotive background
- Strong understanding project management planning, methodologies, and best practices
- Analytical approach with problem solving mindset
- Project management skills
- Structured and efficient approach in teams' projects
- Ability to ensure successful planning and execution in terms of timing and resources
- Very good communication skills
