Job Summary
Lead project delivery for large, complex automation systems by managing customer communications, defining scope and schedules, and overseeing financial aspects within the ERP system. Coordinate with sales, estimating, finance, and engineering teams to execute projects on time and on budget while monitoring quality, cost, and timing elements. Create project numbers, manage purchase orders and billing, and generate progress reports. Proactively manage scope changes, create ECOs, and develop contingency plans for potential crises. Work concurrently on one or more moderately complex projects while maintaining exceptional oral and written communication with external customers and internal employees.
Required Qualifications
- 5+ years in project management, planning, and financial tracking
- experience with large/complex automation systems and manufacturing processes
- Must display exceptional oral and written communication skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Project, PowerPoint)
- Experience with an MRP/ERP system
- Experience with gathering requirements, business analysis, and documentation
- Experience with coaching and team building
- Ability to obtain project management professional certification(s)
- A four-year degree from an accredited institution in Engineering (preferred), Business Administration, or Project Management
