Job Summary
Project Manager – Landscape Architecture role focused on production, coordination, and supervision of multiple landscape architecture projects. Responsibilities include leading project team activities, initiating and coordinating design development, preparing consultant agreements, coordinating design presentations and client meetings, developing project goals, producing and reviewing CAD documents and project specifications, managing budgets and schedules, reviewing estimates, construction documents, and submittals, and directing Construction Administration activities. Requires licensed Landscape Architect with CLARB certification, 5-10 years of private-sector design experience, and proficiency in AutoCAD, Photoshop, SketchUp, and Microsoft Office; strong design development, documentation, and client-communication skills; ability to manage budgets, schedules, and teams including Staff Designers, Staff Planners, and Student Interns.
Required Qualifications
- Education: Landscape Architecture degree from accredited BLA or MLA university program
- Registration and Certification: Registered Landscape Architect and CLARB certification
- Experience and Skills: 5-10 years of experience in a private sector design or planning office
- Advanced AutoCAD and customizations, Photoshop, SketchUp, and Microsoft Office suite
- Advanced contract document layout and production knowledge
- Advanced hand and digital rendering skills
