Job Summary
The Project Manager - Land Development is responsible for supervising and directing all aspects of a community including maintaining schedules, coordinating with department heads and consultants for architectural design and site planning. Responsibilities include overseeing construction activities and quality control, creating and maintaining site budgets, negotiating contracts, and preparing feasibility studies. The ideal candidate should have strong management skills, analytical abilities, a minimum of 7 years in relevant fields, and a valid driver’s license.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 7 years in community development, redevelopment, economic development, or housing preferred (public agency, private company, or non-profit)
- High School Diploma or equivalent required
- Valid, unrestricted driver’s license
Desired Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Urban Design, Planning, Real Estate, Business, Engineering, Construction Management, or related field
- Advanced PC skills: Word, Excel, Power Point
- Excellent analytical ability
- Strong writing skills
- Strong motivational, management, and organizational skills
