Job Summary

Conduct site development engineering and project management for land development projects, including research, coordination, cost estimating, and permitting for land disturbance. Prepare bid packages and technical specifications while monitoring project progress, budgets, and schedules. Build plan sets, construction documents, and design utilities, site layouts, and drainage systems. Collaborate with industry professionals, contractors, and various jurisdictions to oversee quality standards and client meetings.

Required Qualifications

  • 6+ years of relevant engineering design experience
  • Professional Engineering (P.E.) License (or ability to obtain within 12 months)
  • experience with site civil design, permitting, and applicable software applications including hydrology modeling program, storm drainage programs, AutoCAD, and Civil 3D
  • Experience with task management, concept design, and assisting project management tasks
  • Familiar with coordinating with clients, attending client meetings, and overseeing quality standards
  • Working knowledge of AutoCAD Civil 3D
  • Ability to build plan sets and other construction documents
  • Design experience that includes utilities, site layout, drainage, due diligence and permitting
  • This is not a remote position
