Job Summary
Plan, organize, and direct project activities by collaborating with the Director of Operations, General Superintendents, and Superintendents to establish objectives, policies, and performance standards. Manage financial aspects of contracts, approve invoices for suppliers and subcontractors, and generate timely AR billings while monitoring job costs to prevent overruns. Interface with clients to address changes, issues, or disputes, and generate all change order requests within established unit rates. Investigate serious situations, implement corrective measures, and formulate reports on work progress, costs, and scheduling. Requisition supplies and materials, interpret plans and contract terms, and represent the company in industry trade groups and job site meetings.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in engineering, construction management, construction science, or equivalent combination of technical training and related experience
- 5 - 8 years experience in construction management, including estimating, project scheduling and control, and management of field personnel
- Knowledge and ability to prepare detailed planning for construction projects, schedules, and estimates and to make proper modifications to such, using a computer and standard company software
- Ability to read and interpret construction drawings, shop drawings, and technical specifications
- Ability to perform quantity take-offs, estimate construction costs, organize bid forms and bid packages, and manage project budgets
- In-depth knowledge of construction principles/practices
- Experience building relationships and working with subcontractors and vendors
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Valid driver's license
- Must have reliable transportation to the workplace(s)/ job location(s)
- Ability to pass drug screening
- Must be able to work in the United States without corporate sponsorship now and in the future

Desired Qualifications
- Concrete Industry Management (CIM) degree preferred
