Job Summary
Manage project budgets, schedules, and cash flow by building weekly progress reports, tracking costs, and ensuring monthly billings align with job progress. Lead the project start-up and close-out processes, including submittal reviews, change order processing, and punch list management with customers and field teams. Coordinate with the Superintendent to deliver crew time, logistics, and materials according to the schedule while mitigating impacts from scope changes, weather, or manpower constraints. Review daily job performance, oversee the buyout process for subcontractors, and foster vendor relationships to drive budget savings. Work remotely at project sites as needed, accepting calls during nontypical hours to maintain critical project momentum.
Required Qualifications
- Five (5) years of experience managing projects and concrete scopes as a sub-contractor or self-performing general contractor
- Bachelor's degree in construction, engineering, or business
- Strong oral and written communication skills, including presenting advice clearly and concisely
- Be able and willing to solve challenges through innovation; work with minimal direction and supervision; proactive, not reactive
- Valid driver's license
- Must have reliable transportation to the workplace(s)/ job location(s)
- Ability to pass drug screening
- Must be able to work in the United States without corporate sponsorship now and within the future
