Job Summary
Oversee delivery of defined programmes of work by managing contract administration, cost and schedule performance, and project risks. Ensure operational outcomes through coordination, assurance, and governance across all delivery aspects, including managing change control and regulatory compliance. Provide technical and strategic advice to stakeholders while collaborating with project controls teams to maintain alignment throughout the project lifecycle. The role requires NEC4 ECC Accredited Project Manager status and SMSTS certification, with a hybrid schedule of three on-site days per week in Devonport.
Required Qualifications
- Proven experience in engineering design and construction project delivery
- Strong working knowledge of NEC4 Engineering and Construction Contract (ECC)
- NEC4 ECC Accredited Project Manager (or equivalent experience applying NEC contracts)
- Valid SMSTS and CSCS certifications
- Demonstrable experience leading projects within a highly regulated environment
- Full project lifecycle delivery experience from business case through to design, execution, and handover
- Experience managing change control, assurance processes, and regulatory compliance
- Proven ability in identifying, assessing, and mitigating project risks
- HND (or equivalent) in Engineering, Construction, or Project Management
- Location Devonport - the role is Hybrid where 3 days per week will be spent on site
- SC Clearance
- UK residency and nationality
Desired Qualifications
- Association for Project Management (APM) Registered Project Professional (RPP)
- Degree in Engineering, Construction, or Project Management
- Chartered status within a relevant professional body
- Experience using contract management systems (e.g. CEMAR)
