Job Summary
Provide high-level project management overview and direction for large-scale utility projects, including initiation, planning, execution, and closing. Manage schedules, budgets, scope, and risks across overhead, substation, and underground segments while overseeing engineering teams and third-party projects. Control quality, environmental processes, commissioning, and regulatory compliance. Handle change management and stakeholder communications. Requires PMP certification, 10+ years of EPC experience, and ability to travel to Syracuse and sites biweekly.
Required Qualifications
- 10+ years of relevant project management experience in large-scale utility projects
- Strong experience with EPC Projects, Contract Models and Management
- Strong Safety-First Focus
- Familiar with Article VII Permitting
- Knowledge and experience with project management processes and tools
- Proficiency with financial analysis tools in a utility setting
- Excellent leadership and organizational skills
- Ability to work effectively with competing priorities and stressful situations
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office products (i.e. Outlook, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint)
- Must be able to travel to office for meetings in Syracuse 2x a month
- Hands on Project Manager- travels to sites
Desired Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in an Engineering, Engineering Management, or Construction Management discipline preferred
- Project Management Professional (PMP) certification is preferred
