Job Summary

Oversee day-to-day construction activities from preconstruction through closeout, partnering with the Superintendent to monitor schedules, budgets, and overall project performance. Coordinate with estimating teams, design consultants, and subcontractors to manage design-build projects, review architectural drawings, and support value engineering efforts. Direct project teams, ensure subcontractor insurance and bonding requirements are met, and maintain strong relationships with owners and regulatory agencies. Manage project documentation, Procore operations, change orders, and financial performance while conducting site inspections to ensure compliance with codes and specifications. Assist with project summaries, database updates, and warranty resolutions.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Construction Management, Civil Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Project Management, or a related field
  • Minimum 5 years of relevant construction experience directly related to project management responsibilities
  • Experience with project cost management and estimating
  • Proficiency with construction management software such as Sage/Timberline and Procore or similar systems
  • Experience with scheduling tools including Microsoft Project or Primavera P6
  • Working knowledge of Revit
  • Ability and willingness to travel as required
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Knowledge of construction design, building systems, and project planning principles
  • Ability to read and interpret architectural drawings, blueprints, and technical documentation
  • Understanding of building estimates and feasibility studies
  • Strong negotiation and contract management skills
  • Ability to lead teams and coordinate with a wide range of stakeholders
  • Strong organizational and workflow management abilities
  • Knowledge of construction procurement processes and contract documents
  • Familiarity with federal, state, and local building codes and regulations
  • Ability to conduct site inspections and approve work in place
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and PC-based systems in a Windows environment
