Job Summary
Oversee commercial construction projects from bid to close-out, deliver on time and within budget, coordinate and manage bid and proposal processes, and supervise all activities related to contract administration, change orders, cost estimating, submittals, procurement and project schedule. Review and administer contracts; act as main point of contact with owner/tenant/subcontractors/architect and engineers; train and mentor Assistant Project Managers. Requires a BS in Building Construction, Architecture or Engineering and at least 4 years of experience in real estate, construction, architecture or engineering; ability to read construction drawings; strong relationship-building with clients, owners, managers, consultants, architects, and employees; knowledge of architecture, engineering, and construction principles; experience managing a team; familiarity with Viewpoint Construction Software preferred; proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and Microsoft Project; ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Required Qualifications
- BS in Building Construction, Architecture or Engineering (Preferred)
- 4 years’ experience in real estate, construction, architecture or engineering
- Ability to read construction drawings
- Ability to build and maintain good relationships with clients, building owners, building managers, consultants, architects, employees
- Knowledge of principles of architecture, engineering, and construction
- Experience managing a team
- Knowledge of Viewpoint Construction Software is preferred
- Good time management and prioritization skills
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite and Microsoft Project
