Job Summary
Lead project delivery for civil, structures, rail and urban infrastructure projects in New Zealand. Own project delivery from start to finish, ensuring safety, on-time and within-budget completion while meeting client expectations. Provide leadership to project teams, oversee resource planning and scheduling (including direct resources and subcontractors), and cultivate strong relationships with clients, design teams, suppliers, and subcontractors for long-term success. Ideal candidates will have formal qualifications preferred or equivalent experience, proven civil construction experience in relevant sectors, a strong track record of delivering complex civils projects on time and within budget, and solid project-management skills across safety, contracts, financial management, programming, and stakeholder management. Proficiency with construction management software and a collaborative, solutions-focused attitude are essential.
Required Qualifications
- Formal Qualification – preferred, or equivalent experience
- Proven civil construction experience – particularly in structures, rail and/or urban infrastructure projects
- Strong track record delivering civils projects on time and within budget
- Strong Project Management Skills across safety, contracts, financial management, programming and stakeholder management
- Technical Proficiency – familiarity with construction management software
