Job Summary
Develop and maintain a client base while managing HVAC/plumbing/process sales and coordinating field labor needs with leadership. Execute project management functions including concept engineering, estimating, proposals, and contract execution to finalize sales and ensure successful job completion. Forecast budgets, control costs, and manage billing while providing leadership across Engineering, Purchasing, Accounting, and Construction departments. Act as a mentor to sales staff and coordinate internal resources to meet customer requirements. Requires a BS in Mechanical Engineering, 5+ years in HVAC project management, and proficiency in Microsoft Office and industry software. Full-time Monday through Friday, 6:00 am to 7:00 pm.
Required Qualifications
- BS in Mechanical Engineering or related field (preferred)
- 5+ years of experience in estimating, design, and/or management of HVAC projects from $50,000 to $25+ million
- Ability to operate independently and autonomously to facilitate goals outlined by your supervisor
- Demonstrate a corresponding high sense of integrity
- Demonstrated experience/ability to develop new business
- Strong interpersonal and project management abilities, employing strong organizational skills to respond successfully to a high volume of issues
- Maintain a community presence in an industry-based or community-based organization
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Project)
- Experience preferred in Business Systems Software (JDE, IFS, BidTracer, FastEst, Bluebeam, Box, Smartsheet, etc.)
- Must possess & maintain a valid Class C driver's license and have the ability to drive a vehicle
- Regular and routine attendance
- Monday to Friday, starting as early as 6:00 am and ending at 7:00 pm
