Job Summary
Remote Project Manager for the Jacksonville/Northeastern Florida area responsible for coordinating communication between internal/external stakeholders, tracking costs, mitigating risk, and ensuring milestone dates from project kick-off through close-out. Will collaborate daily with Project Designers, Engineers, Fabricators, Installation Team, and Client to keep projects on time and within budget. Duties include determining customer needs with sales, managing multiple projects, budgeting and timelines, understanding contract documents, assisting with field operations, maintaining client relationships, conducting code checks and permitting, preparing RFQs and installation orders for signage, coordinating design/engineering/permits/fabrication/shipping/installation, resolving issues, providing status reports, and ensuring prompt billing/closeout. Requires an Associate’s or Bachelor’s Degree in Project Management or Construction Management (preferred) and five years of industry experience or related specialties (preferred); travel may be required. Strong organizational, problem-solving, and communication skills are essential.
Required Qualifications
- Associate’s or Bachelor’s Degree in Project Management or Construction Management preferred
- Five years of industry experience or translatable specialties such as exhibit display, architectural metals and/or specialty construction/fabrication preferred
- Willingness to travel based on client needs
- Excellence in client communications/customer relations
- Experience in scheduling, estimating and installation coordination
- Computer savvy, MS Office proficiency
- Permitting and Code research experience
- Proficiency with Gantt chart creation and/or project timelines
