Job Summary
Oversee commercial & industrial structural steel projects from planning through closeout, coordinating field superintendents and project engineers to ensure materials, equipment, and manpower align with timelines. Review drawings, specifications, and contracts to understand scope, schedule, and budget; prepare and manage purchase orders, subcontracts, and billing documentation; conduct regular project reviews to track progress, productivity, and cost performance. Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, fabricators, and field teams to ensure consistent communication and problem resolution. Requires a Bachelor’s degree (preferred) and 3+ years of PM experience in commercial/industrial construction; proficiency with Bluebeam and MS Office; strong communication, organizational, and leadership skills for managing multiple projects across different locations.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field preferred (equivalent experience considered)
- 3+ years of experience as a Project Manager in commercial or industrial construction
- Proficient in project management and document control software; experience with Bluebeam and MS Office required
- Strong understanding of construction drawings, budgeting, and scheduling processes
- Excellent communication, organizational, and leadership skills with the ability to manage multiple projects across different locations
