Job Summary
Manage six to ten moderately active litigation support cases, serving as the Government's primary point of contact for all support activities. Coordinate with Government Case Managers, trial attorneys, and opposing counsel to plan workflows, assign staff, track budgets, and deliver technical and eDiscovery support. Perform active quality assurance on delivered work while maintaining strict security for project materials in accordance with Department procedures. This fully remote position supports the U.S. Department of Justice under the MEGA 6 automated litigation support program. Candidates must be able to obtain and maintain a Public Trust clearance prior to starting and are available for short-notice on-site meetings in the Washington, DC area.
Required Qualifications
- Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. Government Public Trust clearance prior to start
- Authorized to work in the United States
- Ability to work effectively in a fully remote environment
- At least four years of progressively more responsible supervisory and management experience on major litigation support projects
- Demonstrated ability to manage numerous complex and time-critical litigation support activities simultaneously
- Expert knowledge of litigation support
- Outstanding writing skills
- Excellent oral communication skills
- Excellent management skills
- Ability to anticipate litigation support needs and develop and execute detailed plans for addressing those needs
- Knowledge of the Government's data processing environment in which the work is to be performed, including office automation networks, PC-based databases and other applications, and internet and server-based databases and other applications, such as but not limited to Oracle, Relativity or other document review platform, and Trial Director
- Familiarity with ESI tools and knowledge of eDiscovery procedures and resources required
- Expert user of the Government's office and network environment, including but not limited to, word processing, spreadsheet, imaging, and hardware and document review platforms
- Undergraduate degree
- Must be located in or near the Washington, DC area and available for short-notice on-site meetings
