Job Summary
Lead end-to-end Inventory Planning & Replenishment (IP&R) projects from initiation through delivery, managing plans, schedules, budgets, risks, and dependencies. Coordinate cross-functional teams across Supply Chain, Merchandising, Operations, IT, and business stakeholders to drive demand forecasting, inventory optimization, and replenishment accuracy. Support business requirements gathering, solution design reviews, system testing, UAT, deployment, and post-implementation support while improving ordering rules and replenishment parameters. Monitor project progress, resolve issues, and facilitate governance meetings with executive status reporting. Track inventory KPIs including forecast accuracy, service levels, and inventory turns. Ensure high-quality delivery meeting business objectives, timelines, and budget expectations within a 5-day onsite Atlanta role.
Required Qualifications
- 7+ years of Project Management experience delivering Supply Chain, Inventory Planning, or Replenishment initiatives
- Strong understanding of Inventory Planning, Demand Forecasting, Replenishment, and Inventory Optimization concepts
- Experience managing cross-functional projects involving Supply Chain, Operations, Merchandising, and IT organizations
- Proven experience managing project schedules, budgets, risks, dependencies, and stakeholder communications
- Experience coordinating enterprise system implementations, enhancements, testing, user acceptance testing (UAT), and production deployments
- Excellent leadership, communication, facilitation, and stakeholder management skills
- Experience working within Agile, Waterfall, or hybrid project delivery methodologies
- IP&R experience
- minimum ~3–4 years in IP&R specifically
- Overall experience: 7+ years
- Recent IP&R experience
- 1 year of recent IP&R experience plus 2–3 years of similar experience further back
Desired Qualifications
- Experience with one or more enterprise Supply Chain Planning or Inventory Planning platforms, including: RELEX, Blue Yonder (JDA), SAP IBP or SAP APO, Kinaxis, o9 Solutions, Manhattan Planning Solutions, Oracle Retail Planning, Logility, Other enterprise Inventory Planning, Demand Planning, or Replenishment solutions
- Experience supporting supply chain transformation or inventory optimization initiatives in retail, distribution, consumer products, or manufacturing environments
- Project Management certification (PMP, PRINCE2, Agile, Scrum, or equivalent) is a plus
