Job Summary
Plan, execute, and finalize projects within strict deadlines and budget by managing resources and coordinating team members. Define project objectives, oversee quality control, and produce the Project Implementation Plan, Quality, and Communications Plans. Manage the Project Implementation Document (PID), execute scope and milestones, and carry out resource planning and risk escalation. Represent Implementation Team needs during pre-sales, proactively manage scope changes, and ensure team compliance with procedures. Report progress to stakeholders, lead handover activities, and produce the Project Closure Report.
Required Qualifications
- Project Management experience delivering multi-stranded integrated Healthcare ERP solutions in a customer-facing role
- Experience the full project lifecycle through initiation, execution, go-live, and closure
- Experience managing resources, time tracking, budgets, and forecasting
- Experience leading a diverse / multi-disciplined team
- Experience communicating across all levels of an organization
- University degree or 5+ yrs experience managing large, complex projects preferably in healthcare IT
- Technical knowledge in software and implementation processes
- Project Management qualification such as Prince2, PMP or PMI
Desired Qualifications
- Direct healthcare knowledge and/or 3+ years of experience with a Health IT system
- An understanding of hospital/business procedures, standard working practices, structure and politics
- Previous experience as an end user of an integrated health system
- Clinical/business experience or background – ideally as a user of TrakCare or other Hospital Information System (HIS) applications
- Experience with integrated implementations
- Broad understanding of IT technical implementation-delivery
- Senior level management training
- PMI Certification desired
