Job Summary
Production Manager for furnace OEM manufacturing responsible for organizing and overseeing the manufacturing of industrial heat treat furnaces. Ensure smooth operation of production lines, meet customer requirements, and maintain quality and safety standards. Liaise with other managers to set objectives, estimate costs, prepare budgets, organize workflow to meet specifications and deadlines, monitor production to resolve issues, supervise production personnel, determine necessary resources, approve maintenance and purchasing, and report to upper management. Focus on achieving efficient, productive manufacturing processes that deliver output that meets quality standards and safety regulations.
Required Qualifications
- Proven experience as production manager
- Understanding of quality standards and health & safety regulations
- Knowledge of performance evaluation and budgeting concepts
- Experience in reporting on key production metrics
- Proficient in MS Office and ERP software
- Outstanding communication ability
- Excellent organizational and leaderships skills
- Attention to detail
- Strong decision-making skills and a results-driven approach
