Job Summary
Manage electronic security installation projects by planning schedules, coordinating subcontractors, and overseeing field installation and commissioning. Direct project budgets and P&L while executing change orders, monitoring ERP reports for invoicing, and managing material procurement. Maintain active communication with vendors and customers to ensure profitability, troubleshoot issues, and develop contingency plans. Prioritize team workload to deliver quality results on time and within budget.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma
- At least six years of project management experience
- A proven track record and verified references relating to the ability to manager 4+ Million Dollar projects to schedule and budget
- Expert knowledge of PM techniques and tools
- general knowledge of contract laws and regulations
- Ability to work independently
- Ability to perform tasks of moderate to high complexity
- knowledge of technical and business environments
- Proficient with MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Project and SharePoint)
- Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with both internal and external customers
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Team Player with strong work ethic
- Excellent follow-up and leadership skills
- Strong analytical decision-making capabilities
- Self-motivated with the ability to motivate and influence others
- Ability to manage multiple tasks while meeting strict deadlines
- Ability to conduct site walks and attend onsite customer meeting
Desired Qualifications
- Associates Degree
- electronic security industry experience
- PMP from the Project Management Institute
- Factory certifications in relevant technology platforms (Software House, Lenel, Brivo, Open Options, Exacq, American Dynamics, Milestone, OnSSI, etc.)
- Experience in the security industry
