Job Summary
Project Manager for heavy industrial construction projects based in Livonia, MI. Lead projects from scope through closeout, ensuring safety, quality, design, budget, and schedule compliance. Directly interface with client representatives and A-E teams, coordinate subcontractors, manage subcontracts and change orders, and coach Project Engineers. Responsible for project objectives, procedures, and performance standards, plus management of job costs and resource alignment. Must be self-motivated with strong leadership and problem-solving abilities, proficient in Microsoft Office, Primavera, AutoCAD, and Viewpoint, and have a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Construction Management with 7+ years of experience. Occasional travel is required.
Required Qualifications
- A Bachelor’s degree in an Engineering related field or Construction Management required
- 7+ years of experience in heavy industrial project management
- Experience in Microsoft Office, Primavera, AutoCAD and Viewpoint software
- Strong leadership and project management skills
- Proven ability to manage all aspects of a project including technical, safety, schedule, cost, and financial responsibility
- Travel required occasionally
