Job Summary
Lead complex automation and manufacturing system projects from kickoff through delivery. Oversee project planning, budgets, scheduling, and team coordination; act as the main point of contact for internal teams and clients, driving communication, managing risks, and ensuring on-time, within-budget delivery. Develop project plans, allocate resources, guide engineers and technical staff, track financials and timelines using project management tools, and report status to leadership and clients. Demand strong collaboration, leadership, and problem-solving skills to balance customer needs with company resources; require ability to read technical documents, drawings, and specifications and proficiency with project management software.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Management, Engineering, or related field
- 5+ years of project management experience in automation/manufacturing
- Experience working in matrix management environments
- Strong leadership, communication, and conflict management skills
- Ability to read and interpret technical documents, drawings, and specifications
- Proficient with project management software and financial/scheduling tools
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational abilities
